A six-year-old girl came to her mother one day and solemnly asked, "If I do something wrong, isn't it enough to ask God to forgive me?" Her mother carefully explained that if she had offended someone else, she should also ask that person to forgive her.

The little girl turned around and slowly went to her room. A short while later she returned, deep in thought, and asked, "Mommy, what if the person won't forgive me?" Her mother reassured her that if she were truly sorry for what she had done, she would certainly be forgiven.

Again the little girl turned and walked to her room. About ten minutes later, she returned and slowly explained: "I didn't lie to grandma, and I didn't lie to my brother, but I lied to you." Her mother asked, " How did you lie to me?" " Three nights ago when I came into your room, you asked me if I had a nightmare because you said I could only sleep with you and Daddy if I had a nightmare. I told you that I did-but I didn't.

" The next morning when everyone asked me what the nightmare was, I had to make one up." By this time she was in tears, and her eleven-year-old brother walked into the room, wondering what she was crying about.

After the mother explained, the little girl asked her brother, " Don't you ever lie?" He replied, "Yes. When I was your age, I did." In surprise she asked, " Haven't you lied since?" His emphatic answer becomes extremely significant in the light of our need to build responses to overcome temptation.

"No. It's just not worth it! If you lie, you have to go back and tell the truth anyway, and then ask forgiveness, and it's just not worth it!"

Our Trip To Up, (The U.P.That Is), To St.Ignace, And On 9-10--13-07

This was what it looked like right before we left for home.
Mom and I! :)
Mom didn't go all the way down, but Dad and I did.
Going down, and down, and down....
Water, :)
Dad on the trail.

Psalms 1:3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
Hey look it's Water!!!
And More Water, :)
The water was COLD!!!
It's a good thing I like WATER, we saw A LOT!!! :)
Going up! 203,204, 205,pant, pant,206,207..........
Water, hehehe!!!
It was really 232 steps, the sign was wrong. :)
This is under the bridge, I thought it looked cool.
Sand, (got you that time) :)
Mom, Dad, and Water,
It was off and on rainy and sunny all day.

This side off the bridge. We are always on the other side.
We were driving along seeing stuff here and there,
and we all needed to use the bathroom :) so we stopped
off at this little park, it was a nice one and just what we
needed at the time. :)
It was windy so Mom was keeping my skirt down.
This was a tree along the way.
These two and the one at the top, are of what
we could see out our hotel window.
OK if you cant tell what this is, it's what happens
when you aren't a very good fisherman. :)
This was on the bridge that we took to go to
Island #8, that was the only one we went to.
It was not all that big, but it did have a lot of nice
houses on it.

I like this picture.
Seeing as it was just after school started, we were just about
the only ones there, so we went down to the pool, we had it all
to our selves :) When we got back we looked out the window and
there was a rainbow, it was so cool because we could see the whole thing
and it was over the water.

My Dad did this for me, it was so close so it was hard to get it all together.
Genesis 9:12-17
And God said, This is the token of the covenant which I make between me and you and every living creature that is with you, for perpetual generations: I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth. And it shall come to pass, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the bow shall be seen in the cloud: And I will remember my covenant, which is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh. And the bow shall be in the cloud; and I will look upon it, that I may remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is upon the earth. And God said unto Noah, This is the token of the covenant, which I have established between me and all flesh that is upon the earth.
