My Oh So Happy Family!

For some reason, going through some old photos the other day, made me laugh at how truly Grumpy we all looked in some of them! :)
This first one, was a late night car brake down on the side of the road, if I remember the story right. As you can tell, we were all a bit sleepy. :D

I always liked this picture. :) Long day of rides and fun! Now it's time to be a bum... and get some sleep! =]

Loving Sisters...

Really, we do love each other! Even if it doesn't really look like it all of the time! :)
The only one I missed in there was Dad, (other then his arm) he must just be too smiley or something. :D

REALLY REALLY BUSY!

Yes, yes. It has been a really long time since I have posted. Lack of pictures in this post is for the reason of busyness, so much busyness that there was no time for me to take pictures of anything I've been up to. (That and I forgot the camera any time I would have taken pictures:)
Lets see how well I can remember with this 'quite spent for the day' mind of mine.
Friday- Guitar lessons- horse back ride- berry picking
Saturday- Church picnic - clean out car- fill up car- drive car to picnic site- take everything out of car- set-up everything- find something to hold every table cloth down so wind doesn't take it away- wait for people to come- help people unload- play Volleyball- Eat- more Volleyball- Softball- More Volleyball- eat some more- more Volleyball... clean up- pack up car again- drive home- up pack car again- put everything as close to being away as we can- find bed as fast as we can.
Sunday- Church- Jessica and Brad's An. (meaning we get the kids for two nights)-Wood, (thank you to everyone that helped with that!) - More Volleyball (You'd think we were really big on Volleyball or something?) :D -put in movie so kids can calm down and we can rest...
Monday-Cherry picking (Thank you Hannah!)- once again, put in movie for kids so some stuff can get done around the house that I haven't been able to get to for some strange reason...
Tuesday- Cherry pie canning (Wow there's a lot that goes into that!:) Get home, look at all 4 emails I got, look at blog, see it's been a long time since I last posted, sit back and start this rather boring post that no one will take the time to read, and if some one for some reason does take the time to read it they will get to the end and ask them selves "why?" they took the time to read such a boring and very uninformative post.
So that brings us to the here and now, but by the time you read this it will be the, there and then.
So that there is your great update. Hope you got at least a little enjoyment out of that.
Now I can go to bed and not have to worry about people asking me what I have been up to. (till someone that doesn't do blogging comes along that is.) Such is life. :)
And thank the Lord, even though some times it seems crazy, I can still love every bit of the life He has given me! :)
Hope you're enjoying what He's given you!

Kids Kids Kids!!!

I went from not having enough pictures to post for a long time, to having a LOT in a very short amount of time. And I've been busy! But now, here is a post. :D
Carter

Humming bird-This was taken one handed whilst I was on the phone with Rhonda, (remember that Rhonda?:) This is not really an easy thing to do seeing as I had to zoom in a bit and it's HARD to hold still and talk on the phone at the same time! :)

Grandma, and Faith (What a face!)

How sweet! :)

Grandma, and Mom

Carter and "his" car. Just his size wouldn't ya say?! :)

Jessica, with Faith. That's as close as you can get to Suntan with Faith! :)

But Parker got right up there!

(Wow Faith!) Carter got a ball! (Well, I think Daddy really was the one that got it, but that's ok)

Thinning out the Garden, anyone know what this is? :D

Mmmm.... Freezer pops!

Hoo! Red eye! sorry!

My Carter, what a long Purple tongue you have...

Huh!?

Those things are yummy. :)

The kids going for a "ride"

Look like fun? :D

The Cowboy Carter

Is this how you do it Hannah?

Yah, Yah!! =]

Crazy kidsis

Look like he is enjoying running over his brother...

Looks like he's been playing hard! (And we all know what that means.... a good NAP! :)

Now that they know how to ride, lets stick um' on a real horse!

Hannah came over to get me to go ridding, she had the horses and everything ready to go, and the kids were at the house at the time, so she was kind enough to let them ride around! :) Faith, just LOVED it! Carter, was cool with it, and Parker, took to Papa's way of thinking, "I like the ground and I'd rather stay close to it!"
The boys watching.

Yes, for all those of you out there that I can't ride on my own, I can!
I asked Hannah to lead because the stirrups were already at her length, and if you know Hannah, you know she is a 'bit' longer then me! :)

I started out ridding with Faith "so she would be 'ok' with it". Ha! She's an old pro!

Carter was willing to give it a try! :)

Looks like he enjoyed it!

All by himself! What a big boy! (OK, for those of you farm kids that have been ridding on your own since you were two, give em' a break! Other then Faith I don't think they have been up close to a real horse before!)

Essy wanted the grass, not her head up to look nicer for a picture!

Faith all on her own!

Lookin' good!

Hyper boys!

One more round! This time she sat up there on her own (with me holding her shirt, just in case!:)

Going through the shed one day I found some of Jeremy's cars and brought them in for the kids to play with. Grandma had them clean em' up, which they enjoyed very much!
Then they got to play with them! :)

Mmmmm! It's that time again!

Summer means water toys!

Yes, for all those of you that had any doubt, I did go out and play in it with them. :D

Yum!

Yum! Yum! :D

OK, that's a post for ya!
Well, I must say first though, seeing as I posted this today...
HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD!!!

The 4th of July

Hey everyone, Happy 4th! That time has come again
where we get together with friends and family and
PIG OUT! :P If you mean to or not it happens. =o
But it's always great to get together isn't it! :)
Hope you all have had a great day! And don't forget
to remember what today really was set aside for! :)
Thank God that we are as free as we are!
"The second day of July, 1776, will be the most
memorable epoch in the history of America. I am
apt to believe that it will be celebrated by succeeding
generations as the great anniversary festival. It ought
to be commemorated as the day of deliverance, by
solemn acts of devotion to God Almighty. It ought to
be solemnized with pomp and parade, with shows, games, sports, guns, bells, bonfires, and illuminations, from one end of this continent to the other, from this time forward forevermore. " ~ John Adams in a
Letter to Abigail Adams (1776-07-03); because of the official adoption of the United States
Declaration of Independence on two days later, the fourth of July rather than the second, became known as the US Independence Day.

I hope I didn't kill your eyes with that, mine are sure shot though! =o
:)
