Trust
"Trust Me, My child," He says. "Trust Me with a fuller abandon than you ever have before. Trust Me, as minute succeeds minute, every day of your life, for as long as you live. And if you become conscious of anything hindering our relationship, do not hurt me by turning away from Me. Draw all the closer to Me, come, run to Me. Allow Me to hide you, to protect you, even from yourself. Tell Me your deepest cares, your every trouble. Trust Me to keep My hand upon you. I will never leave you. I will shape you, mold you, and perfect you.
Do not fear, O child of My love, do not fear. I love you."

Thank God For The Red, White, and Blue
Our Flag Stands for Freedom. Will We Stand For Our Flag?
So many have died for that flag, for OUR Freedom.
Can we not set aside our busy lives to stop and say thank you?
I know the comparison is made quite often, of those that died for freedom in America, and the One that died for freedom from our sins.
But do we stop now and then from our busy lives and tell our Lord, Thank You?
A thought that was put forth to me not long ago, "are we fitting God into our lives, or are we building our lives around God?"
Think about it, really think about it.
Are we willing to stop and say thank you for how merciful He really is to us?
Say thanks this Flag Day, if not to a solder, to God.
Forgive me, what I wanted to say when I first thought of this post had a whole lot more meaning. But sadly, I ran out of time. :P
THANK YOU!

Meg's and I's song.
With all the "debate" blogs out there, I just couldn't be left out.
I am now posting the post that everyone will eat me up for I'm sure.
This is a song that Meg's was singing one night at Church, and overhearing her fumbling on some words, I thought I might help her out.
Seeing as this was the night just before Dad and I left for Portland, and with much other stuff getting in the way, we never got to finish it.
But I thought I may as well post it while everyone might still get a kick out of it.
I hope you can enjoy it. And please, just take it as a joke, nothing more!
Anyways...
Here it is-
Done to the tune of, Carole of the Bells
Swine flu if here
Bringing much fear
Creeping its way
in USA
In Mexico
Where the winds blow
and if you ask
People with a mask
They will tell you
It's a horrible flu
But they don't know
The things on their face
germs of the flu
Will go straight through
And their efforts are pretty much useless
Yes their efforts are pretty much useless
What will they do?
What will they do?
Schools they have closed
Nobody knows
Who'll be the next
Some they are vexed
One more thing I thought I'd add here. On our way to Portland, we saw a great many people with the masks on. Every time I would see this, I just had to laugh.... =]

Random shot
Get up the tree fast! I think I heard a bear!
Faster!
OK, so maybe I didn't hear a bear. Now how do we get down from here?! =]
All of us looking very thoughtful
Find the mark or not, we can still smile to have friends along. :)
MB-The hills are alive... with the sound of music...
The Mothers, "Don't fall!"
You can't tell how very high up we were, what one will do for a picture. :)
Walkin' on trees :D

MaryBeth, "I don't see it anywhere."
Hannah, "I think it's over there, see Bethany?"
Bethany, "Where? Oh, I think I might can see it!"
Esther, "I'm not sure if that's it or not."

In our shelter
Teapot girls, all grown up. (Long story, ask me some time if you don't understand)
With the lighting on this one you could 'almost' think we were sisters.
