Yes, so I'm muchly behind on my posting. So sorry.
Here are just a few snaps of our trip um, last month. =]
While Mom stayed at our nice and cool hotel, I went along with Dad to renew my library card. To the Library of Congress that is. :D We spent most of our time searching as far back as we could on the Townsend side of the family tree.
After Church that night, we tried to go see the fireworks (The 4th was on a Wednesday if you'll remember). We got as far as, well the highway and ended up just sitting there in three or four lanes of stopped traffic. But hey, they were great fireworks what we could see of them! :D

Sunday after we went to Church, we headed off for Jamestown. Dad was in such at hurry that he forgot all about lunch. So I think it was around 3 or so before we stopped to eat and this cute little diner. :)

We stopped by a plantation on our way out of town, but it was already closed up, so we couldn't even see the house. But it was still pretty cool.
The day after we got back dad and I had to cut some tree limbs down.
The first one we got down with an old extension cord, that we tied a roll of ducktape to and threw over to pull it down. =] Just goes to show you can fix just about anything with Ducktape. ;)
Dad did that top part you can see cut out here, then we pulled back on the branch and broke a lot of it, Then I cut what was left. I didn't know how hard it was to saw like that! =]
